Salary: Approx. £40 per hour

Job Description

Scheduler/Planner required to support a Project Team in Yeovil, Somerset for a 6-12 month contract.

Candidate will be responsible for both major and minor engineering modifications for in-service aircraft, performing various planning activities such as:

Critical path analyses

Performance plans

Earned value

Recovery planning

Lead time/ duration planning

Working knowledge of Risk management and Risk mitigation and tools used to manage Risk.

A thorough working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Project and /or OpenPlan Professional planning tools.

 

Scheduler will recommend and ensure implementation of corrective actions to ensure schedule targets are achieved.

Will analyse and integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule.

Interface effectively with internal and external customers, typically design and production, to develop scheduling processes and protocols whilst maintaining schedule baseline. 

 

Candidates must be able to work pro-actively, autonomously within a defined team structure and be capable of prioritising tasks within a busy environment.

Candidates should have previous Aerospace/Defence experience with complex high value contracts involving international customers and suppliers.
